Proof-of-Trajectory

You are not your iris. You are your trajectory.

Proof-of-Trajectory (PoT) is the foundational innovation of the GNS Protocol. Instead of biometric scanning (like WorldCoin's iris scan), PoT proves humanity through movement patterns.

How It Works

Real humans move through physical space in patterns that are:

  • Consistent — daily routines, commute patterns, familiar locations
  • Unpredictable — no two days are exactly alike
  • Unfakeable — generating realistic movement over weeks/months requires a physical body

Smartphones collect cryptographically-signed location breadcrumbs at the point of occurrence. Over time, these breadcrumbs form a trajectory that proves the device (and its owner) is a real human moving through real space.

For AI Agents

AI agents don't move through physical space, but they operate in digital territory. GNS-AIP adapts PoT for agents through:

  • Virtual breadcrumbs — operation metadata signed at execution time
  • H3 territorial binding — agents are bound to geographic cells
  • Operational trajectory — consistent patterns over time build compliance score
